1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using FolderPls, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use FolderPls.

2. Description of Service

FolderPls is a file organization service that allows you to add metadata (labels) to your Google Drive files and folders without moving or modifying the files themselves. The service provides:

• Custom labeling system for files and folders
• Search and filtering capabilities based on labels
• Integration with Google Drive for file access
• File preview and management features

Important: FolderPls does not store your Google Drive files. All files remain in your Google Drive account. We only store file IDs and metadata (labels) that you explicitly add through our service.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

To use FolderPls, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have a valid Google account
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Google Drive Integration

FolderPls requires access to your Google Drive to function. By using our service, you grant us permission to:

• Read file and folder metadata from your Google Drive
• Read, modify, and delete files in your Google Drive (as needed for file management features)
• Access file content for preview purposes

This access is governed by Google's OAuth 2.0 system, and you can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings. Your use of Google Drive is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FolderPls to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Upload, store, or organize illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of FolderPls

6. Intellectual Property

The FolderPls service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on FolderPls without our express written permission.

You retain all rights to your Google Drive files and the metadata (labels) you create. We do not claim ownership of your files or your custom labels.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that FolderPls will be available at all times or free from errors. We may:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
• Update features or remove functionality as we see fit

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or service interruptions when possible.

8. Data and Account Termination

You may delete your FolderPls account at any time. Upon account deletion:

• All metadata (labels and tagged items) stored in FolderPls will be permanently deleted
• Your Google Drive files will remain unaffected and unchanged
• We will revoke our access to your Google Drive

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that we determine is harmful to the service or other users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

FolderPls is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FolderPls and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of FolderPls shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FolderPls, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FolderPls after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FolderPls operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
